EVALUATION

1. APPLICATION

  • Potential mentors apply to Become CariScholar Mentors.

  • Potential mentees apply to Find a CariScholar Mentor.

  • Applications are evaluated by CariScholar.

  • New mentors and mentees are added to the CariScholar database

2. CONNECTION

  • CariScholar finds a suitable match for mentees

  • Mentors and mentees are connected via email, by CariScholar

3. INNITIATION

  • Mentors  and mentees introduce themselves to each other

  • The pair sets a  schedule for correspondence, identifies goals and objectives for the mentoring period.

4. CONTINUATION

  • Mentors and mentees correspond as often as possible.

  • Mentors: make suggestions, guide, share knowledge, motivate  mentees

  • Mentees: asks questions, follow-up on suggestions

5. EVALUATION

  • Mentoring should last six (6) months.

  • CariScholar will then invite both mentor and mentee to give feedback on the mentoring program.
